A Day of Education, Empowerment, and Community Support

The 2025 McLennan County Alzheimer’s Expo was a remarkable success, drawing hundreds of attendees on Tuesday, June 24 at First Woodway Baptist Church. Now in its third year, the Expo continues to serve as a vital event for individuals, families, caregivers, and professionals navigating the challenges of Alzheimer’s disease in Central Texas.

A Strong Community Turnout

This year’s event welcomed an enthusiastic crowd of community members seeking information, guidance, and support. With over 40 invited exhibitors and more than 20 professionals—including counselors, healthcare experts, and support specialists—the Expo provided attendees with an abundance of resources and expert insight. Behind the scenes, a dedicated team of 12 volunteers ensured the event ran smoothly, showcasing the community’s deep-rooted commitment to supporting those affected by memory loss.

Presented by Trusted Local Partners

The 2025 Expo was made possible through the collaboration of several respected local organizations:

  • Divine Home Care Services
  • Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest Internal Medicine and Senior Health Center

  • Area Agency on Aging

  • Alzheimer’s Association

  • Woodway Baptist Church

These partners have worked together to create a welcoming and impactful platform that equips caregivers and families with the tools they need.

“Very excited and proud of the amazing team that works every year to put this Expo together,” said Eduardo Berdegué, founder and co-organizer of the Alzheimer’s Expo and principal of Divine Home Care Services.

“It feels good to know that we are helping to answer an increasing demand for information, resources, and connections from a growing number of people affected by the disease in our community.”
